An amazing opportunity to join a dynamic and growing speciality coffee company, our Head of Operations will manage a team of Area Managers, and be responsible for 38 shops and counting!
With a fantastic bustling office in Covent Garden, and lots of time spent in our lovely coffee shops, the Head of Operations will direct and support implementation of all operational projects. The focus of the role will be on driving sales and controlling costs, while maintaining focus on engaging and motivating our happy people and building our coffee credentials.
You'll work within the H+H leadership team, and build a network of support from our parent company to ensure strategic objectives and commercial goals are met.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
o Deliver a clear, transparent operational plan, which drives business growth.
o Work with the H+H Leadership team and other departments to identify areas of improvement within the business and build and implement plans to ensure we meet our goals.
o Ensure smooth roll out of initiatives from the top down.
o Monitor and evaluate success of initiatives.
o Deliver excellence in customer experience, brand, sales, profitability and culture across the store estate by managing, supporting and developing the Area Operations Managers.
o Act as a Brand Champion and Cultural Custodian within the Operations team, and drive employee engagement through all channels.
o Support each of the Area Managers by setting clear expectations, monitoring success, providing regular feedback, supporting with the creation of plans to deliver and exceed expectations.
o Challenge when things are not working, suggest change when required and be seen to be making a difference.
o Interpret data trends and reports that are relevant to H+H performance. Design and implement solutions with the leadership team.
